Anderson Manufacturing AR15 Lower Receiver Review - YouTube !!!
in review I'm going to be discussing
the Anderson manufacturing him dash
lower our receiver
now Anderson manufacturing
wooden is not a new company
they've been around since
and the been building AR components
since around
my radar you and with
the and coating that they provide
on their completed rifles which is
called Rd and it looks like it's a
competitor nickel boron
nickel Teflon coatings the only problem with that is you
you can't purchase a
lower or bolt carrier group from them with this or
treatment on so had no way to get my hands on one of those two actually
tested and
and see how it stacks up to nickel boron bolt carrier group for example
to get those coated parts you
end up having to get a complete rifle from them
something then I'm not going to commit to doing
the you know looking over there
rival offerings you know they're several things they don't like about their
their parts and mainly there
their balter
bolt not carpenter 158 bolt
the lesser quality people and they don't offer chrome lined barrels
so and
with that said and
why do I have a lower receiver well recently
Palmetto State Armory has been offering the floor receivers for fifty dollars
now that dow kinda makes you stand up and say oh came
that see stream the inexpensive that's even less than what they sell
their bull and lowers for so
that kinda brought them to the front of the line in my attention
now I was gonna go and and
order wanted test from elemental
but you know when I by lower receiver
and all paper the lower 0 pay for the shipping
then I've gotta pay a thirty dollar transfer the from my at that they'll
and I was gonna do that
but my ethical actually had the
in stock for
so buying
this lower receiver from my other cell for $
plus tax
is less money than buying fifty dollar one
from telnet when picking these up some going to be doing some experimentation
with that
trying out different things and
see and like I mentioned
and this receivers stamped am-
part number: it's also stamped Kelty
yes fire
safe marking
I do believe they manufacture their lowers along
with you know gas blocks in hand guards and
charging handle at least that's what they say and they
do you have C&C facilities for manufacturing these parts so
I I find no reason to not believe that a manufacturing
lowers on they have to be manufacturing on
the offering them it is kinda price here also
ISO
certified
and they offer a limited lifetime warranty
on their part so that's good so
this lower receiver years TV
so it standard Mills
back with the mil-spec
phosphate coating on it they have several different flavors this on their
website
and they've got one with an integrated
trigger guard which I still believe which I believe is
is still a forged
not bill and they offer and eighty percent lower
a person finished and the
also offer one which they refer to
in the white with
according to them doesn't have a North
treatment kinda left me a little bit confused there because
if you you know you go to their website which is
Anderson rifles dotnet
the basically stated underneath their FAQ section
that individual parts or not are 85 treated
so not sure why they would be offering a
lower receiver like this one and lower receiver in the white
specifically stating its not or 85 treated
they don't have are
stampings on
now this receiver is not a in the white receiver
it does not have already by stampings on itself
and what they have on their site a little bit confusing
what's in the back is a little bit confusing
but you know when
not you know not that great deal and
and if I didn't mention you are ready Anderson
is mind you to gun part manufacturing
the started manufacturing in offering parts in
my convention the been around since
and the manufacture a lot to different parts
for other
industries not not just firearms
the fire ministry so
with blue background
on after getting this lower receiver taking a look at it
finish is on par with pretty much
all the other lower receivers I've looked at on
the milling home the
role marks are fine
no issues at all home
got tape covering serial number and I'm sure that's pretty obvious
anybody looking the mag well layered
know it it basically looks like
ninety-five percent of all the other receivers on the market better in this
category you know
bike the brothel pal metal and Bushmaster
cold
so there's no you know unique
design going on here the following
complete mil-spec standard from what I can tell
this some lower receiver ships
in the plastic bag with barcode on
which don't happen to him from me by doesn't come in a fancy box or anything
like that
like Stag Arms
said
I've tested so far I've tested
a and I've installed a spikes lower parts kit
in this I've installed CMMG lower parts kit
and I've installed a Palmetto State Armory lower parts kit
I did not have any that admits with the standard single stage
mil-spec triggers the
trigger painter the hammer and I also installed
Kenneth anti-roll and kit
on on one of the triggers with no issues
I tried a couple different trigger guard they tried
standard import April flat regard
spike billet regarded course no problem
also try a select fire lever
the spikes ambidextrous one as well as a standard mil-spec single
right-handed like fire
switch am no problems with the springs
detained
no problem bull release
I did install the den defense buffer to
and spikes tactical buffer to both mil-spec no problems
the threads a great am
the I tried spikes
grip rather company grip
and the group grew was a little tight going
and for might have been
flashin thread or leftover
materials plating process I don't know but
when I took it out put back in it when fine
the Bravo Company grip fits pre-taped
down here but goes on just fine said Fleisch
no said nothin issues aside from it sitting pretty tight
bikes one on a little easier on I did try
a Magpul my hand grip that went on find that was of a little tight but
you know problems the
bagwell is flared like
most AR lowers despite
ball company and so on to ease in magazine
installations
I tested see product
an aluminum steel see product magazine
spikes into magazine
and m
without issue all the magazines at the old rock
well opening is debt-free within stack everything drop
through drop three now issue
the takedown and and the pit and
no problem prompted the tension springs their
installation fine
and again like I said I i tryed parts from three different kids
thats that's kinda what i do. I'm testing a receiver is
is all all I'll use it two or three different kids
on and that may not even be a valid test because a lot of those components in the
skit
they all come from the same manufacture it's really hard to say but
and without knowing that for sure
the best I can do is actually just take three kids in three different
manufactures
that I know make quality kids and try those
I have not i'd I did this
to a spikes upper
no problem the color is virtually a spot on match
I have not tested it with any other uppers at this point
life match yep spikes after only
fine color was good there were no gaps or or anything
with otherwise abnormal I'm
I'm probably going to have a couple how metal
uppers and pretty soon them a test with yes
an alt I'll report back early updated description
trying to think if there is anything else wanted to mention about yes
and
nothin negative I can say about it that's for sure
the camera decides it wants to
capture the inside here we've got
you know the threat to the buffer tube for good
there was no rag apart some red
property threaded in well mmm
if you no if you pick out any remarks on this it's because I
I been installing taking out part
there might be some grease marks are some someone next here and there
should be anything major
and
can't think of anything else ad for this particular
you so if you're
on the fence about picking up one of these from Palmetto or
from you know somebody else
at least with this one
I you know I feel confident building this into a
you know about a rifle
pierced you know no issues
and you know for the money
it's probably the best price lower receiver on the market right now from
what I can tell
buddy score this
bucks and
no transfer your you attend all the transfer fee
yeah I think different go for you would not be disappointed
using this for a receiver
now long-term durability course I can't comment on that because
now actually even you know built this into a complete
rifle and fired it by from what I see so far
my I don't the issues
I had my caliber out I was measuring
some the openings and and such on it and deftly everything
appears to be within spec from what I can tell
so with that said I'm gonna go ahead wrap this up
Anderson manufacturing dash
AR lower see her
checks out pretty good in my book I'm gonna build this into a rifle eventually
after
I bought this to play around with and you know stay tuned because I'm going to
and I'm going actually doing captured eat and
where I'm going to be on
reading these openings and using set screws
to secure springs in the D ten
at all all do how to use on that
and this is going to be my candidate for doing this set screws
so stay tuned for that video that'll be following up soon
