Hi guys,today I'm going to show you how to make polymer clay jaffa cakes.
I'm going to start by taking ball of tan clay and flatten
it out to get sponge cake base.
Then I'm going to texture it using toothbrush.
Now, I'm going to shade it with soft pastels and
make up brush.
I'm using straw here to get bite mark but you
can also use cookie cutter for this purpose.
Moving on, I'm going to use needle tool to texture
the bitten part of the cookie to make it look like it's made from sponge cake.
For the jelly layer I'm going to grab ball from yellow clay, flatten it out and attach
it to the already made sponge cake base.
You want to use dotting tool, toothpick or anything that works for you to create a hollow
- dimple in the yellow layer above the bitten part.We're going to
add resin there later to make it look like real jelly.
For the chocolate coating I've mixed brown polymer clay with FIMO liquid and I'm going
to cover the top of the cookie with that mixture.
Now your cake should look something like this and it's time for baking.You want to bake
